I am not a civil engineer or anyone blessed with actual knowledge of hydraulics. What I am is a concerned citizen who has fervently followed the history and development of the DC sewer system over five decades. During the early 1990s, I was fortunate to represent the DC Chapter of the Sierra Club and other local environmental groups in the Stakeholders process that created the Long Term Control Plan. This website has been created to supply background and research for clean water advocates and concerned citizens. It contains only a few scientific studies but mostly it relies on publicly available data to present findings and make recommendations. Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.
